(Above) Lulu and Eddie made a snowman using what snow was remaining on our lawn and on Eddie's car. Eddie started scrapping snow up with a shovel and patting it into a big mound on the front lawn. I looked out and said, "Eddie? Have you ever MADE a snowman before?" knowing full well what the probable answer was. "No, not really, I'm from Los Angeles!" was his answer. So I instructed him to make a ball of snow and start rolling it across the lawn to build it up. And then repeat for the next addition to Frosty.

Recently Uttered...
Posted by StuntBunny at 3:28 PMLulu loves salty foods, but the salt inevitably quickly ends up making her lips sting. The other night at dinner, she was eating and started complaining, "Owww, I think some salt magically appeared on my food and is hurting my lips!"

Eddie and I finally (but quickly!) decided on some metallic glass mosaic tile for our kitchen backspash when we finish it this spring on Saturday. These 12x12 sheets from Home Depot are gorgeous and a BARGAIN at $4.99 each. While we enjoyed a date night Sunday night at a very nice restaurant, I noticed the fireplace surround tiles that were small, matte chocolate brown subway tiles:
Me: "Oh, I love those tiles on the fireplace! Wouldn't those look great with the counters and the wallpaper in the kitchen, too?"
Eddie: "Yeah, those are nice. But I'm sure they are from Anne Sacks (tile shop) and that they cost a fortune"
*******************************
Lulu having a meltdown in her bedroom because we wouldn't let her do something she wanted to yelling to no one in particular:
Lulu: "My parents are the meanest people, ever! They hurt my feelings!!!"
*******************************
Lulu bounding outside to the backyard to play in the snow on the ground and exclaiming, "Hi, Snow!!!" as she went down the stairs.

Stealing Kisses
Posted by StuntBunny at 10:18 AMLulu told me that she and Zach shared a quick kiss during circle time on Valentine's Day.
On the lips.
It seems this went down very stealthly, when the teacher wasn't looking.
Evidently an opportunity was seen, and consequently, taken...

It's Becoming a Pattern
Posted by StuntBunny at 1:01 PMI have all these pictures accumulating of Bean passed out in her bouncy chair and then when she got bigger, her highchair (see below). Inevitably what happens, she is tired at the end of the day (or mid-day) and after one of her many milk binges, she just passes out in her chair. I think there is another set of pictures on the blog from a few months ago where she fell asleep right when she was eating a piece of apple. On this particular day (Sunday night) she pulled Lulu's sweater on over her clothes because she totally idolizes her big sister. Also, I think Bean is particularly fetching in stripes. They suit her personality and her dark features. Our little French bebe!
Yes, she is getting so big!
