Lulu and I made some hard-boiled eggs and colored them. On Easter, we hid them and had an egg hunt. After collecting them, Lulu held up a red one and asked, "What do we do with them now?"
"We eat them."
"Okay!" CRUNCH!
"No! Wait!"
"These don't taste good."

My ridiculously talented sister Dian (hi Dian!), created a couple of outfits for the girls. A blue one-piece infant thingy for the Jojo...
And a gorgeous owl dress for Lulu.
Coincidentally, Melissa had purchased a few yards of the same owl material (except in green) some time back.... maybe she'll make a matching dress for herself?

The One Baby Per Party Rule
Posted by StuntBunny at 9:32 PMWe were getting ready this afternoon so we could get out the door and over to Grandma's for our big extended family Easter Dinner. I said to Lulu, "There is going to be another little baby at the party today!" My cousin, Karyn, was introducing us to the newest addition to the family, their two and a half month old daughter, Addison. Lulu called to me from the other room, "Are we going to leave baby Josephine at home?"

It's a bird...it's a plane...it's...
Posted by StuntBunny at 7:31 AMSUPER BEAN!!!
We got a patio umbrella for our table (gotta love IKEA!) a few weeks ago. Protection from the sun when dining al fresco, and also to keep the deposits of pitch from the tree back there accumulating on the table top as summer arrives. Oh, and solar powered Chinese lanterns. We try to go Green up here where we can.
It adds a little somethin-somethin to the backyard as far as atmosphere, don't you agree? It's also nice to look at from the kitchen. Of course, Flying Beans are sweet to watch, too. Kinda like hummingbirds!
